Hello!
How is everyone doing? This social distancing is really becoming a way of life, and now we are going to be doing it for another 30 days. Life will be back to how we know it, we just have to get through this.
My card today is to brighten someones day. I am using the Magnolia Bundle along with the DSP. My card base is Mossy meadow 4.25 x 11, scored at 5.5 for the fold and then I used the scallop edge to die cut the end. I then added a piece of the Magnolia DSP 4 x 4.25 to the top along with the Petal Pink shear ribbon for a bow. I used one of the smaller layering circles to die cut the whisper white and a scalloped one for the Mossy Meadow. I stamped the magnolia in Soft Suede ink and then colored with my blends in Mossy Meadow and Petal Pink light and dark. The hello is stamped in Mossy Meadow ink and I added some embellishments (retired). I attached the circles together and then used dimensionals to attach to the card. On the inside I have a piece of whisper white 5.25 x 4 and added a 1 x 4 piece of the Magnolia DSP.
A great card to send to someone that you needed to be in touch with, and have not been able to. Remember we have a lot of people staying at home that have no contact with the outside world. Please take a few minutes and put a card in the mail for them with a short note, the card does not have to have a lot of detail if you are pressed for time. Just send something! They will greatly appreciate it. My mom is all alone, so today I mailed her card with pictures of her great grandkids! I know that will brighten her day. So please send those cards, their routines have been disrupted too!
I didnt mean to lecture, Sorry!
Have a great day!
