Staying Positive!
Are you needing something to fill in your time, other than cooking, eating and cleaning? Dig out those stamp sets, paper, ink and embellishments and lets get some cards going. The Positive Thoughts stamp set in the Mini catalog on page 23 was one of the first sets I bought out of the catalog. The sentiments caught my eye right away. Then they added the framelits for the stamp set and that just made it more of a winner.
My card base is Pretty Peacock 4.25 x 11 with a layer of Rich Razzleberry 5 7/8 x 4 1/8 and then a layer a Very vanilla 5.25 x 4. I started off with stamping the fern in Mossy Meadow and then added the flower in Pretty Peacock ink and finishing off with the butterfly in Rich Razzleberry. I stamped the sentiment in Basic Black ink. The rhinestones are from the Noble Pond pack. You can see in the picture that I stamped the envelope flap too.
I Love how this card turned out, hopefully it will brighten the recipients day.
