Spring card

Hello Stampers!

Can you see the sunshine coming in my window! It just makes this card feel more like spring. I am using Pineapple punch cardstock, (which is a retiring color) 8.5 x 5.5 and then a layer of Granny Apple green 4 1/8 x 5 5/8″ and then a layer of whisper white 5.25 x 4 that I embossed with the Brick and Mortar 3d embossing folder. I am then using the cherry blossom dies that go with the Forever Blossoms stamp set. But there is no stamping done on the front of the card. It is all die cutting. I first die cut the curved branch in Granny Apple green card stock and attached to the card with glue. I then die cut the flowers in Pineapple punch and the leaves in Granny apple green. The flowers I used my bone folder to break up the fibers in the cardstock by curling them up and then attaching on top of each other with a glue dot. I also used a glue dot to attach them to the card. The leaves are die cut from Granny Apple green and randomly placed with glue dots. The stamina is done is Soft suede and I glued them in but only putting a dot glue at the very bottom so that the stood up somewhat. I added a granny apple bow made from the 1/2″ textured weave ribbon. Then finished of the card with the embellishments from the Noble Peacock Embellishments.

I hope you get your dies out and give this card a try. So many colors can be used on this card and will work on for any occasion. Have fun with it.

Enjoy day!

Sheryl
