February Birthdays

Are you getting ready for a FUN weekend? My grandsons are coming to spend the night tonight, they are 3 and 6. So much fun, I have my house clean and laundry done so I am ready for full grandkid spoiling!
My post today is showing the gift boxes I made for my customers that have February Birthdays. I have managed to get them all out so I can show this post now. The boxes are very easy to make, I am using the Birthday Bonanza Designer series paper to make them. The bottom of the box is Bermuda Bay 8.5 x 9.75 scored at 2″ on all 4 sides. Cut in to the score line and add tape and form the bottom of the box. The top of the box is 7 9/16 x 8 13/16. Now you are probably wondering why did she go with the 16 of inch. On any size box top, if you add a 16 of an inch on the sides you are guaranteed a perfect fit. You will score the top at 2″ also. Just cut into the score line and then assemble. They should fit together perfect.
I then used the Bonanza Buddies stamp set to decorate each box. On the inside I put a pack of the Pink Metallic embellishments. This box is big enough to hold 5 cards with envelopes which would make a nice gift too!
