Positive Thoughts

Positive Thoughts, that is how I want you to start your day out! This was one of the cards we made at my card classes this week. This stamp set is also the stamp set of the month card kit. My card base is Petal Pink 8.5 x 5.5 with another layer of Petal Pink 5.25 x 4 that was embossed with the Parisian Flourish embossing folder shown on page 15 of the Mini Catalog. I then cut a piece of copper foil paper 2 7/8 x 4 3/8 and then used the die cut from the framleits to cut out the Whisper White card stock. I then used my stamparatus to make the flowers and the ferns. The fern is first stamped in Pear Pizzazz and then I took a sponge and added some Mossy Meadow to the stamp and stamped it again to get a little variation. The flower I stamped in So Saffron ink first and then went and added some Flirty Flamingo ink to the stamp with a sponge dauber and stamped over top of it.

Then I die cut them all out with their framelits. I arranged them on the whisper white card randomly and added dimensionals to the top flower. The butterfly is stamped in soft suede and die cut and then colored with the Petal Pink blend. I added a glue dot to one side of his wing and attached and then bent the other wing up. I added a piece of the Petal Pink metallic ribbon around the copper piece and then made a small bow and attached with a glue dot. I then tucked some Petal Pink Metallic emblishments in around the leaves of the fern. I turned this piece on angle when attaching to the card. I loved the different look this gave this card. On the inside I stamped some of the leaves and added the butterfly on top of them.

You will get all the stamp set, framelits, all the pre-cut cardstock, ribbon, embellishments, envelopes and illustrated/written instructions on how to put these cards together. You will do all the stamping and die cutting with the cardstock provided in the kit. You will need to provide the ink, adhesive, glue dots and stampin dimensionals.
