A Moo Birthday
I just love this stamp set Over the Moon on page 32 of the Annual catalog. I grew up on a dairy farm and milked cows for years, milked before I went to school and then did the night milking too. I liked milking cows back then, but pretty sure I do not want to go back there. Anyways my card today is for a friend that also grew up on the dairy farm and milked cows. She and I were in 4-H together and even showed cows together at the fair only she had jersey cows where we had holsteins.
My card base is Basic Black 8.5 x 5.5 with a layer of the Golden Honey DSP paper from the Sale-a-bration catalog. 5.25 x 4. I then added another layer of Basic black with whisper white. I stamped Miss Bessy in Black archival ink and colored with stampin blends – Mango Melody for the boots, basic black for the spots, soft suede for the hooves, Real red flower, Old olive the leaves and petal pink for her nose. The sentiment was stamped in Basis Black. The flowers are from the Dressed to Impress Bundle and stamped in Black and colored with real Red and Old Olive stampin blends I die cut and then popped up with the stampin dimensionals.
Such a cute card for us ole farm girls!
Have a great day and do something FUN!
