Poppy Parade
Hello Stampers!
Did you get to make cards during the Super Bowl? Did your team win?
I was a little crafty over the weekend, and this was one of my projects. I am using the ever so popular Poppy Parade from the new Mini catalog. This set is so much fun and you can do so much with the stamps, dies, and paper. I started out with a 8.5 x 5.5 whisper white card base and then added a piece of the DSP 5 x 3.75. I then used those new Stitched so sweetly dies on page 20 of the new Mini catalog. I think those dies are going to become a favorite of mine. I used the largest stitched rectangle and die cut this piece of whisper white card stock. I then stamped the grouping of poppies in Black memento ink, and then stamped the tall Poppy with the Black memento ink. I added the green dots with Old Olive ink, and used my Old Olive stamping blend along with dark poppy parade markers to color the tall poppy. When I attached this scalloped rectangle I used stampin dimensionals all around it. I am leaving the sentiment off the front of the card, I think it just makes a statement the way it is. On the inside of the card I repeated the front with stamping the poppies in the group and then the tall one. I also colored them with my markers.
This would be a beautiful wedding card, birthday, etc. and you could just stamp it on the inside to finish off the card. This card took no time at all to complete, very easy and simple.
