Hello Friends!

Doesn’t this card just pack a punch! So bold and eye catching! This card is made with the new Painted Poppies bundle (pg 25) and the new Stitched so Sweetly dies (pg20). My card base is whisper white 8.5 x 5.5 with another layer of whisper white 5.25 x 4. I then used the largest scalloped rectangle in the Stitched so Sweetly dies and die cut a piece of basic black card stock. Then I used the next smaller one to die the cut the whisper white. These dies are so pretty they really add to the card. I then took the little dotted image from the Painted poppies stamp set and inked it in Poppy Parade ink and stamped off before stamping on the white card stock, I did that twice and then used the sentiment from the Seriously the Best stamp set on page 60 and stamped it in black ink. I then stamped the color blotch from the Painted Poppies stamp set in Poppy Parade ink and stamped the outline in Black ink on top and then die cut the flower. The color blotch is to make this look like more of a color wash versus filling in the complete flower. I stamped Old Olive ink with the leaf on to Old Olive card stock and die cut. I attached the flowers and the leaves to the card with stamp dimensionals. I then made a tiny bow with the new 1/4″ crinkled seam binding ribbon and attached with a glue dot. I couldn’t resist not adding some bling, so I pulled some embellishments from the Holiday Rhinestones and randomly placed them in the top corner. The card is sitting on its envelope which you can see that I stamped the poppies on the outside to match the card.

I didnt put a sentiment on the inside, I will leave that for when I mail the card. It could be a Birthday, thinking of you, etc.

If you are in need of supplies to make this card, shop at my online store and list me as your demonstrator so that I can send you a Thank-you gift.

Have a great weekend, and hope you get inky!
