Life is better with a Friend!

I am using the Painted Poppy suite to complete today’s card. Life is better with a friend like you, doesn’t that sentiment just say it all. I know you probably have that special friend that is always there when you need them, can listen for hours to what you have to say, and then you might not have contact for a little while, but when you do you can pick right up where you left off. This card is made for that person. I started off with a Poppy Parade card base 8.5 x 5.5 and then added a layer of Rich Razzleberry 5.25 x 4 and then a piece of the Peaceful poppies DSP 3 x 3 7/8. I then used the red piece of DSP to cut the solid image of the poppy out and Real Red card stock to cut the outline of the Poppy out. I attached them to the Rich Razzleberry card stock. I then die cut the leaves in Old Olive and Mossy Meadow to get the variety and attached to the DSP. I added some of the sequins with a little bit of tombow glue. The sentiment is stamped in black ink onto Real red card stock .5 x 3.5 and then I flagged the end and attached with dimensionals. This is such a pretty and vibrant colored card.
