This is one of the Christmas cards that was made at my Christmas stamp-a-stack on Saturday. I am using the Toile Christmas stamp set and framelits. The card base is Crumb Cake 8.5 x 5.5 with a layer of Early Espresso that I embossed with the Woodland Embossing folder. I stamped the cardinal in Merry Merlot on to whisper white card stock and colored with cherry cobbler, basic black and pumpkin pie stampin blend markers and then die cut it, after I die cut it I trimmed off the little white outline edge as I wanted the cardinal to look like a real bird. I stamped the branch in Soft suede ink onto whisper white card stock and die cut it and the colored the leaves with Cherry cobbler pumpkin pie and berries with daffodil delight Stampin blend markers. The sentiment is stamped in soft suede onto Crumb Cake cardstock and die cut with the framelit in the set. I finished off the card with a bow made from the linen thread.
