October Birthdays

Its a Beautiful Monday Morning!
My post today is all about the customers with October Birthdays
My gift bag idea came from Angie Judas blog, her bag was a small one, I just revised the measurements to make it a taller bag to accommodate my gift.
The measurements to make this gift bag are – 10 x 8.5 piece of Pear Pizzazz cardstock.
score on the long side of the cards stock at 3.25, 4, 4.75, 8 8.75 and 9.5 then on the short side score at 1.5 Take your bone folder and burnish all your score lines. You will see where the bottom flaps are going to be, you will need to cut each up to the 1.5″ score line. The small rectangle on the end can be cut off. Before closing up your bag, I put on my DSP paper which is from the Come to Gather DSP shown on page 48 of the HOliday catalog. You will need two pieces 3 x 6 7/8/ I attach them before I close up the bag. Put tear and tape all done that side and fold the card stock over to make the bag. Add tear n tape to the bottom flaps and close in the bottom of the bag. I then used the Gather Together stamp set to stamp and die cut my pumpkins and leaves. The pumpkins are Old Olive ink stamped on Old Olive cardstock and die cut. The larger leaf is Mint Macaron ink on same card stock, and the final is an Early Espresso card stock die cut with the embossing and framelit of the leaf image. I used the starburst punch to punch out a pear pizzazz circle and then used the circle dies to cut out the mint macaron and whisper white circle. The sentiment is stamped in Old Olive with the wheat schaff added but I stamped it off before adding to the circle. I used a gold clip to secure the bag and added a bow made from the pear pizzazz 1/4″ribbon.

This bag would work great for party favors and with it being tall you can put a lot of stash in them. I needed it tall in order to hold the embellishments that I was giving away.

If you are needing product to make this bag, please feel free to shop at my online store and dont forget to mention me so that I can send you a Thank-you gift.
Have a great Monday and Thank-you for stopping by.
