Quick and Easy
Did you ever have a weekend where you could use another weekend to clean up from the weekend? I think that is where I am after this weekend. My weekends are usually used to help pull my house back together after the work week, get everything caught up and ready to go again. That did happened this past weekend so we’ll see how the week goes.
Todays card is a quick and easy card as there was no time to get a lot of detail in.
I started off with a Whisper white card base 8.5 x 5.5 and added a 1′ x 5.5 strip of In color Designer series paper along with a piece of the Seaside Spray 1/2″ scalloped linen ribbon. I then die cut the 2nd to largest Stitched nested label in Seaside spray cardstock and the next size down in Whisper white card stock. I stamped the bird image from the Free as a Bird stamp set in Black memento ink. I used my stampin blends to color the image, for the leaves, I used Lovely Lipstick, Pumpkin Pie, Mango Melody and the flowers were Balmy blue. The birds are colored in So Safron and Light Crumb Cake. The sentiment is from the Good Morning Magnolia Bundle stamped in Balmy Blue ink.
Quick and Easy is not usually the road I take, but I love how this turned out and you could do any color combination and have a beautiful card.
