Open House

My Open House for the new annual catalog was held last Saturday and I used the Over the Moon stamp set as my theme. These Milk cartons were made as my favors and they held a sampler of each of the new In Colors scalloped linen ribbon and a strip of the Noble Peacock Rhinestones. The milk cartons are very easy to make, you will need a piece of Whisper white cardstock 8 x 10.5″. You will score it on the long side – 1/2, 3, 5 1/2, and 8, then on the short side 1/2, 2 6. Now on the long boxes that you see from the scoring, is where I stamped the black dots (using the large blob stamp from the Love What you Do stamp set), and then in the smaller box I used the smaller blob as you can see in the picture. Then assemble the carton. I cut 1″ strips from the Love What you do DSP paper and taped them around the bottom of the box. I used the stitched label frames to make the frames for the background and the one the cow is stamped on. The cow is stamped in Black Memento ink and the colored with the stampin blends, Real Red, Daffodil Delight, Basic Black, Petal Pink, and Smokey Slate. I then took the light Balmy blue and drew an outline around the entire image. I added a paper clip to hold the carton closed.

I want to Thank all the ladies that came out for my Open House it was a great time.

Make sure to stop back later in the week and see the card that was made using the Over the Moon stamp set.
