August Birthday bags
August Birthdays!
Today I am showing the little gifts bags that I made for my customers with August Birthdays. These little bags are quick and simple and would make great gift bags for your children birthday parties. I am using the Dinoroar Suite on page 100 of the new Annual catalog. To start off with you will need a piece of cardstock 3 x3 and scored at 1/2″ on all four sides. Cut the ends and put together in box formation. You will then need a piece of DSP paper 4 x 8.5. On the little box bottom that you just made take your tear n tape and go all the way around the outside of that box, peel off the strip and then take your DSP and attach all the way around the box. You will also need to put a strip of tear n tape on the DSP short end so that you can close up the DSP once you are all the way around the box bottom. I then die cut a circle in whisper white and stamped my sentiment in Pretty Peacock ink, and the feet in basic black. I used the starburst punch and punched out in Lovely Lipstick card stock and attached the two together and placed on the bag. The dinosaur is stamped in Mango Melody ink on to whisper white card stock, the points of the dinosaur are stamped in Pretty Peacock. A little note, when die cutting the points out, take the die and line up with points, the die is made to give a little piece of paper left for attaching to the dinosaur. I used a 1/2′ circle punch to put a hole in the top of the bag for the ribbon, I used a piece of Lovely Lipstick ribbon. So easy to make and would be a great addition to a Birthday party.
