True Friendship

This was another one of the cards from my July card of the month kit using the To A wild Rose stamp set and the new In colors.  My card base is the Seaside Spray 8.5 x 5.5  with a layer of Basic Black 4.25 x 5 and the a layer of the In Color 6×6 DSP paper 3.75 x 5.  I die cut a large scallop circle from the Seaside Spray, a Basic Black circle, and then a whisper white scallop circle to make my layers for the rose.  I stamped the rose outline in basic black ink and then filled in the rose with Seaside spray ink. I attached all the circles together and used stampin dimensionals to attach to the card.  I used the leaf punch to punch out the leaves, in Seaside Spray, Basic Black and the In Color DSP.  The sentiment is from the stamp set and stamped in Basic Black ink onto whisper white card stock 3 x 1.5 and I rounded the corners.  I attached a piece of the Seaside Spray linen ribbon and then the sentiment was added with stampin dimensionals.  I finished off the card with In Color faceted dots.   Easy, Peasy! You could make this card in any color combination and substitute the DSP paper, its a very universal set up.
