Soft Spring

Soft Spring is the stamp set that I am using today, it is a hostess stamp set therefore you must purchase $150.00 worth of product in order to order it.  It is shown on page 205 of the annual catalog.  I used Pretty Peacock and Purple Posy cardstock for this card, which wasn’t my intent but I do like them together.  The cardbase is 8.5 x 5.5 with a layer of Purple Posy 5.25 x 4 that I embossed with the Scripty 3D embossing folder.  I then stamped the flower images with Pretty Peacock ink.  I added the little flys with basic black ink.  The sentiment is from the Good Morning Magnolia stamp set.  I stamp it in Basic Black ink on to the purple posy card stock and die cut it with a stitched label framelit and then   added a scalloped piece of Pretty Peacock cardstock.  I attached the two together and then popped them up on to the card.  These two colors really worked out together even though that wasn’t the plan.
