Daisy Lane

IMG_5657Happy Friday!!!

Yea its Friday and the sun is shinning!  I’m still working on July Birthday cards, for this card I used the new Daisy Lane stamp set and the Birch stamp.  The card base is Petal Pink 8.5 x 5.5  with another layer of Petal Pink 5 3/8 x 4 1/8 and then a layer of Whisper White 5 1/8 x 3 7/8″.  I stamped the Whisper white layer with the Birch stamp and Smokey Slate ink.  I love this stamp, you will be seeing more of it from me in the future.  I then die cut a piece of smokey slate and one of whisper white using the Stitched nested labels.  I used Mossy Meadow ink to stamp the fern on to the whisper white, if you notice you will see that the fern looks a little variegated in color.  My ink pad needs re-inked but I really like how this stamped.  I then stamped the daisy in petal pink and smokey slate ink on to whisper white paper.  Using the daisy punched I punched them out and used a glue dot to put together, and then added a Basic pearl in the center.  I attached them with stampin dimensionals.  I then took the smokey slate gingham ribbon and cut 3 – 1″ strips and glue dot them together and randomly placed them behind the flowers.  I love the little pop that gave the flowers.  The greeting is from Itty Bitty Greetings, I stamped it in smokey slate onto smokey slate cardstock and just fussy cut it out.  I added stampin dimensionals to it and put on the card.

I would love to hear your thoughts on this card.  If you need any supplies feel free to shop my online store, or if you are not comfortable with that drop me a message and I will be glad to help.

Enjoy your weekend and dig those stamps out and make something!

Sheryl
