Little Birdie saying Hello

The Free as Bird Bundle is just an awesome bundle, you get the stamp set and then Stitched nested label dies with it. This can be found on page 91 of the Annual Catalog. If you order the Bird Ballad suite, you will receive the stamp set, dies, Bird Ballard designer series paper, Bird Ballard laser cut cards and tin, scalloped lace trim and Bird Ballard trinkets for $94.75. On my card I used the stamp set, dies and the designer series paper.

The card base is Pool Party 8.5 x 5.5 and I used the stamp from the set and pool party ink and randomly stamped on the front of the card. I then took a piece of Old olive card stock and die cut with a stitched nestle die, then I took the next smaller one and die cut a piece of the DSP paper. Attaching them both together and placing on the card. I stamped the bird in Soft Suede ink on to whisper white card stock along with the branch and flower.

To color the bird, I just used my blender pen to catch the soft suede ink for his upper body and added a little Petal Pink with my blender pen for his under body. I wanted him to match the bird on the designer series paper. I colored the with daffodil delight and the leaves in Old olive, again just using my blender pen. I then fussy cut them out and added a little bakers twine to them and attached to the card with stampin dimensionals. The sentiment is stamped in Basic Black ink onto whisper white cardstock and I just cut around it and added it to a piece of Old olive cardstock and used a mini dimensional to attach. This made for just a sweet little card to send to someone to brighten their day.
