Free as a Bird
The Free as a Bird Stamp set has to be one of my favorite from the new catalog. Those little birds can be colored in so many ways to coordinate with whatever your project may be. My card today starts off with a piece of Pool Party card stock 8.5 x 5.5, then a layer of Petal Pink 5.25 x 4 that was embossed with the subtles embossing folder. I then added a 2 x 5.25 piece of the DSP paper. The circles are the large scallop die with a piece of the DSP and then a smaller circle of Petal Pink and finish off with a piece of Whisper white punched with the starburst punch. Before assembling I stamped the birds onto the whisper white piece. Using my stampin blends I colored the birds with Crumb Cake, Petal Pink, Old Olive and Balmy Blue. I attached all the circles together and placed on the card. The ribbon is the Petal Pink organza ribbon from the Occasion catalog. I added a silver metallic heart embellishment to finish off the card. On the inside of the card I stamped the entire branch of the birds and colored to match the front of the card. I plan to use this for a Birthday card for my sister.
All the supplies to make this card can be found on page 91 of the new annual catalog. If you have not received a catalog and would like one, send me a message, I would be happy to get one out to you. Or better yet shop my Online store and list me as your demonstrator so that I can send you a Thank you.
Have a great day!
