Soft Spring

Happy Monday!

I hope your weekend was awesome, it was nice to see sunshine for once. Wish it would continue thru the week. My card today is using the Soft Spring Stamp Set, this is a hostess set. I just loved the simplicity of it. I started out with a whisper white card base 8.5 x 5.5 and then added a layer of the Garden lane DSP paper, 4.25 x 4. Have you had a chance to look at this pack of paper. It is totally awesome, and its all about the greens. The piece I am using here has a Mossy Meadow background in it with a touch of Mint Macaron. The mint macaron piece is 3 x 5 and the whisper white is 2.75 x 4.75. I stamped the flower image and dragonflys with Black Memento ink. The stamp set does come with stamps to add color to the flowers and the leaves but I chose to you my stampin blends instead. I colored the flowers in Mango Melody and the leaves in Old Olive. I wanted to add a little color to the Dragon flys but just didnt know which way to go. Any suggestions? The sentiment is from the Good Morning Magnolia stamp set. I added a little heart from the enamel embellishments.
