Today is the Day!

Yes today at about 4:00 P.M. the new Annual Catalog will go live!  If you have not received your new catalog yet, leave me a message and I will get one out to you.  The Free as a Bird stamp set is part of a bundle which includes stitched framelits, shown on page 91 in the catalog.  The designer series paper that goes with it, is just beautiful too.

So for today’s card I started with Seafoam Green card base 8.5 x 5.25, then a layer of whisper white 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″,, then a layer of Garden Lane DSP paper 3.75 x 5.  Next is a layer of Seafoam green 2 7/8″ x 4 1/8″ and then a layer of whisper white 2.75 x 4.  The layer of whisper white I embossed with the subtle embossing folder.  I then stamped the large bird image in Black Memento ink.  Using my stampin blends I colored the birds with Balmy Blue, Pineapple Punch and Pumpkin Pie.  The tree branch is colored with Seafoam green for the leaves, light Old Olive for the branch and Mango Melody for the flowers.  I added a  messy bow from the bakers twine, and finished it off with some silver metallic shapes.  On the inside of my card I stamped the small little leaf branch and added a flower or two.

This is the outside of my envelope.  Do you stamp your envelope.  I always do, I feel that makes a completed project.
