Happy Easter

Happy Friday!

Are you all geared up for a fabulous weekend?  I am hoping for sunshine!  My cards today are going out for Easter.  As you can tell I wanted the most spring color that I could possible get!  Fable Friends is the stamp set from the Occasion catalog on page 30.  It is such a cute stamp set, who wouldn’t love those little ducklings? My card bases are Daffodil Delight, Highland Heather and Flirty Flamingo 8.5 x 5.5.  I then layered with the same colors 4.25 x 5 and embossed with the Basket weave embossing folder.  I then added a layer of the gingham DSP paper and I die cut it with the 3rd largest Stitched rectangle framelit.  I then added a piece of Whisper white, which I stamped the Mother and her ducklings on with Black archival ink.  I then used my stamping blends to color the ducks, Highland Heather, Daffodil Delight Flirty Flamings, Pool Party, Call me clover, pumpkin pie and they are all the light version.  I then took Granny apple green ink and stamped the grass randomly around their feet.  The sentiment is stamped in Highland Heather ink and the bows are from the Organdy Ribbon combo during sale a bration.

Don’t you think they are fun cards, that is what I was going for, Fun and Colorful!
