Butterflys are back

Hello Stampers!

Is Spring here or not?  Rain on Saturday followed by snow on Sunday!  Its time for Spring!!  I’m ready for grass mowing, flower planting and butterflys!  The butterfly gala Stamp set bundle is back!  I purchased this bundle back in when the occasions catalog first came out and then this bundle became unavailable, so I didnt use it.  I do not like show something that you cannot order.  So here is a fun spring card and hopefully the real butterflys will be here soon.

My card base is Whisper White 8.5 x 5.5 with a layer of Lemon Lime twist 5.25 x 4.  The Lemon Lime twist is one of the colors that will be retiring June 1st, so if you want to continue to use the cardstock and ink make sure to restock now.  I then took another piece of the Lemon lime twist 2.5 x 5 and added a layer of the Botantical butterfly DSP paper 2.25 x 5, then another layer of Lemon Lime twist 1.5 x 4.25 and the DSP 1.25 x 4. I added a bow from the Organdy ribbon combo pack, and punched a butterfly with the butterfly punch out of the DSP paper.  The sentiment is from Beauty Abounds stamp set stamped in basic black ink and punched the 1″ circle punch and then a scallop circle from the 1 1/4 punch.

It made for a nice card to send to someone to let them know you were thinking of them.
