Lasting Lily

The Lasting Lily stamp set is one of the stamp sets that you can earn free with a $100 purchase in the sale-a-bration catalog.  Time is running out to earn this set, as the 31st is Sunday.  You can also purchase the framelit to die cut the flower and petals with.  It makes for a great set to make sympathy cards, wedding, anniversary etc.  My card base is Old Olive cardstock, 8.5 x 5.5 with a layer of Petal Pink 5.25 x 4 and then a layer of whisper white 3.75 x 5.  Which was embossed with  the Country Floral Dynamic Textured Impressions embossing folder (which is also a free item with a $50 purchase).  I then used ovals and scallops to make the backdrop for the lillies, in Old Olive, Petal Pink, and Whisper white.  I stamped the lillies in Petal pink onto white cardstock and die cut them out, and the stems are just die cut form Old Olive cardstock.  I positioned them on the ovals and attached.  I then made a bow from the Petal Pink/Whisper white 5/8″ variegated ribbon and attached with a glue dot.  I CASEd this card from one I had seen on pinterest, very pretty I think.
