Lasting Lily
Good Morning Stampers!
Did you have a great weekend? I am so glad for the time change, I am ready for more daylight! So the Lasting Lilly stamp set is a free stamp set with a $100 purchase and now you can purchase the framelits to go with the stamp set for $27. The sentiments in this stamp set come with deep feeling there are not the ordinary sentiments.
My card starts off with a Pear Pizzazz card base 8.5 x 5.5 and I added a piece of Elegant Romance DSP 5.25 x 4. I then stamped the lily in Daffodil Delight and Firty Flamingo onto whisper white cardstock and die cut them with the framelits. The leaves and stems are just die cut from Pear Pizzazz paper, you could stamp them first and then die cut, but I liked it without.
I attached them with glue dots the stems to the lily and then attached to the card. I added a Pear Pizzazz 3/8″ satin ribbon. Looking at the card it needed something else, so I used my butterfly punch (unavailable at this time) and punched a butterfly from the Botanical Butterfly DSP paper that is also a free item with a $50 purchase. I took my stylus and gently rubbed it in circles on the back side of the paper which made the wings curl up so that it looks like it is flying. I then added a glue dot on the center of the body to attach to the card. This card started out to be a sympathy card but I didnt want to put the sentiment on the front of the card so I added it on the inside. This would make for a nice note card too.
I hope you have a great day and thank you for stopping by.
