February Birthday gift boxes

How is everyone doing? I was out of town for a couple days to a convention in Atlanta Georgia with my husband. It was cold there, just like Ohio. There wasnt anymore sunshine there than there is here. I was really hoping for sunshine!

My little gift boxes today are what I gave to my customers for their Feb. birthdays. It was easy to put together and can really hold a lot of loot. I put a pack of the Happiness Blooms Enamel dots in them, they fit perfectly. Ok now to make the box. I started off with a piece of Gorgeous Grape cardstock 7 1/2 x 6, then score on the 7 1/2′ side at 3 and 4 1/2″, turn and score on the 6″ side at 1 1/2 and 4 1/2″.

For the top of the box I am using a piece of the How sweet it is DSP paper 3 9/16″ x 5 1/16″, on the 3 9/16″ side score at 1 and 2 9/16″ and then turn and score on the 5 1/16″ side at 1 and 4 1/16″. I then used the Sweetest thing stamp set and framelits to decorate my box. I finished it off with a bow from the Pineapple punch 1/8″ ribbon and added a lovely lipstick foil heart.

You could put gift cards, candy, or jewelry in these boxes, a great way to celebrate someones birthday.
