Happy Tails

Hello Stampers!
Have you seen the Happy Tails stamp set and dog builder punch yet on page 33 of the Occasions catalog. What a cute set along with the Nine Lives Cat stamp set on page 32. Whether you work the 2 stamp sets together or each on their own they are bound to bring a smile to your face. There are so many color combinations that you make the dog and cat.
My card today is one I thought for the male gender as a Valentines card, but you could also use it as a get well, thinking of you, birthday etc. If the recipient has a dog you match their animals colors. Possibilities, possibilities! My card base is cherry cobbler 8.5 x 5.5. I then used the new rectangle stitched framelits, have you looked at those yet. Awesome!!!! I am using a larger one and die cut out a piece of Basic Black paper and then chose another one 2 sizes smaller and die cut another piece in Cherry Cobbler. I then stamped on the paw prints in Basic Black ink. I stamped my dog onto whisper white with Basic Black ink and punched him out with the dog punch. After attaching the layers together I took a piece of cherry cobbler bakers twine and wrapped around the 2 layers 3 times and then finished off with just tying a knot. My sentiment at the top is in basic black ink from Teeny tiny wishes. It say Happy Valentines day, (the lighting is not very good on the top of the card.) I punched it out with the label punch and attached with glue dots. The little Cherry Cobbler heart also came from the dog punch. Isnt this so cute!
Watch for more cards to come using my new friend.
Stay warm and Thank you for stopping by.
