Geared Up Garage
Have you looked at this stamp set bundle? If not, you should, Stampin up has really come up with a great stamp set, thinlits, Designer series paper, embellishments and ribbon for the male gender. There is so much that you can do with this set. The designer series paper has so much to offer and the piece that I die cut the thinlets with to make this card, I was able to cut out 3 large gear sets and numerous small ones, the entire sheet has will be used.
My card starts off with a Basic Black card base 8.5 x 5.5, with a piece of the designer series paper Classic Garage, 5.25 x 4. I then used my banner framelit to die cut another piece of the DSP. I used the gear thinlet on another piece of the DSP to die cut the gears. (I think this is one pack of 6×6 paper that will be used up). I then stamped the sentiment on to whisper white cardstock and added the Happy Birthday in Real Red ink. The Happy Birthday sentiment is from the Amazing Life stamp set. I didnt want and script writing wanting it to keep it more manly looking. I then used the Tailored Tag punch to punch it out. I also punched one out in Basic Black, and cut it in half and attached to the back to make a boarder. On the inside of the card I stamped some of the nuts in basic black ink. I am so happy the way this turned out. Check out the stamp set and bundle on page 43 of the Occasions catalog. There are a lot of options there to make a masculine card.
Happy Stamping!
