Sending Healing Vibes

Hello Stampers!

My card today is for a dear friend that has been battling breast cancer for almost a year now.  She has done the chemo, then surgery, radiation and now back to chemo.  This past weekend was a very rough weekend for her, so I am hoping this puts a little sunshine in her day.

The card base is Blueberry Bushel 8.5 x 5.5 with a layer of Grapefruit Grove 5.25 x 4 and then the Whisper White 3.75 x 5.  The stamp set is the Healing Hugs set found on page 110 in the Annual catalog.  I stamped the roses in Grapefruit Grove and then made a mask of them.  I laid the mask over the stamped roses and added my leave image in Granny Apple Green and the little sprig in Blueberry Bushel ink.  The sentiment is also in the Blueberry Bushel ink.  To finish off the card I added a bow from the 1/8″ Blueberry Bushel Grosgrain ribbon and a silver metallic heart embellishment.

This card came together rather quickly and you could do any color combination.  I hope you can take the minute today to  make a card and send to someone to give them a little sunshine in their day.

Sheryl
