Happy Birthday
Hello Monday!
Did you get to do any stamping over the weekend? I did! and I also worked on cleaning and re-organizing my craft space. Are you one of those people that buys that beautiful designer series paper and then does not use it. I was, but now I just cut in to it and try to use up as much as I can, because shortly there will be another new batch of paper coming out. Hence, is how this card was born. I started out with Tranquil Tide card stock 11 x 4.25 and scored at 5.5 for folding it half. I always score this type of card base, as it makes it easier to fold. I then added a piece of the Frosted Floral DSP paper 4 x 5.25. The banner is 1 x 5.5 and I used the banner punch to crop the bottom. I then added a 2.75 x 4.25 piece of Tranquil Tide. The whisper white measures 2.5 x 4. The stamp set that I used is the Falling Flowers along with the May flowers framelits. My inks and cardstock are, Gray Granite, Pear Pizzazz, Tranquil Tide, and Seafoam green. I stamped the images on to the whisper white cardstock. Then stamped them on to their coordinating card stock and die cut them. I then just made up a collage of the arrangement and attached. The sentiment is from the Very vintage hostess stamp set. This made for a beautiful Birthday card, but also could be anniversary, wedding, thinking of you etc.
I’m really loving the color combo, You could do this with any designer series paper. It is very adaptable. I hope you will give this card a try.
Thank-you so much for taking a minute and stopping by today.
Enjoy your day!
