Healing Hugs

Hello Stampers!

Its a little brisk here this morning.  We got a touch a cold weather this past weekend!  Whew! I dont know about you but I wasnt quite ready for that!

My card today is for a friend that is battling breast cancer, shes had a little set back, so I hope this brightens her day.  My card base is Crushed curry 8.5 x 5.5 with a layer of Mossy Meadow 5.25 x 4 and then a layer of Whisper White 3.75 x 5.  The stamp set I used is Painted Harvest found on page 139 of the Annual catalog.  I used the Crushed Curry ink for both layers of the flower, and after I stamped it I then used my blender pen to make the color darker in some areas.  I wasnt really going for the sunflower effect, but more of a bright sunny looking flower.  The inside is stamped in Soft Suede, the fern leaves are stamped in mossy meadow ink.  I then took the sentiment from the Healing Hugs stamp set, on page 110 in the Annual catalog.  I added a heart from the Frames Elements embellishments with a glue dot.  This card turned out really pretty and I hope it puts a smile on my friends face!

If you need any of the supplies to  make this card, please feel free to shop my online store, or if you are not comfortable with doing it online yourself, just contact me with your order and I will place it for you.

Have a great day and enjoy the sunshine!

Sheryl
