Varied Vases Birthday Wishes
HAPPY FRIDAY!
It is a cold, damp, rainy Friday here and sounds like the plan for the entire weekend. A great weekend to stamp! Get started on those Christmas Cards, tags, gift boxes and gift card holders! I know it is the season for all those Christmas items, but I still have Birthdays thru the holidays that I will need cards for. I was re-arranging my craft area and the Varied Vases stamp set was there so I was up for the challenge. I don’t know what it is about this stamp set, but I always have to really work at what I am going to do with it. The camera did not do this card justice, because the Crushed curry and Crumb cake that was used on this card, just looks amazing. I started out with a Whisper white card base 8.5 x 5.5 added a layer of Crushed curry 5.25 x 4 and then a layer of whisper white 5 x 3.75. I stamped the little ruffle in basic black ink and then added a 1 x 3.75 strip of the Share what you love DSP paper. I then took the middle stitched oval and stamped the vase and the flowers in Crushed Curry and crumb cake. The sentiment is stamped in basic black with the flowers stamped over it in crushed curry and the punched with the classic label punch. I attached the oval with stampin dimensionals and added a linen thread bow. The Birthday wishes sentiment is attached with glue dots, and the sentiment at the bottom is stamped in basic black ink and then I stamped the tulip on crushed curry and punched out with vase builder punch. So a pretty card, and you could change it up with any color. This bundle is very versatile.
Well this is a wrap for me this week, I hope you get to do some stampin and stay in where its warm and dry.
Have a great weekend.
