Fall Thank-you card
Hello Stampers!
I hope you had a great weekend. Mine was awesome, my kids were in and out all weekend and we kept the grandsons overnight, and gained an extra hour of sleep. Can’t get much better than that!
My card today is a fall thank-you card. If you remember I used these trees last week on a card. They are from the Winter Woods stamp set on page 27 in the Holiday catalog. I stamped the tree in Crushed curry ink and then took a sponge and sponge on some real red and Old Olive ink on to the stamp its self and then gave a little huff of breath and stamped onto my Whisper White cardstock. I did the same technique with the little grassy strip, I wanted it to look like piles of leaves on the ground. I used the framelits from the Blended Seasons bundle to die cut my whisper white. My card base is Real Red card stock 8.5 x 5.5 with a layer of Real red cardstock, 3.75 x 5 that I embossed with the corrugated dynamic textured embossing folder on page 13 of the holiday catalog. I then die cut 3 leaves, old olive, crushed curry and mango melody card stock using the framelit again from the Blended seasons bundle. I added a bow with bakers twine and attached a little heart from the Frames Elements embellishments. On the inside I stamped the Thank-you and the leaf image from this stamp set.
I hope you will give this a try, it can be done with any stamp set that you want to add some variation in color to. Have fun with it!
Enjoy your day!
