Christmas Wednesday

Love Never Melts!

Such an awesome sentiment!  I really like this stamp set Spirited Snowmen, the little snowmen are just adorable.  I started out today with a piece of Balmy Blue cardstock 8.5 x 5.5, and added a piece of Whisper White 5.5. x 4.  I tore a piece of scrap paper and laid it at different angles on the card and used a sponge dauber and Smokey Slate ink and made some various snow drifts.  I then stamped my snowman couple in Black memento ink.  I used my stampin blends to color them, Smokey Slate, Poppy Parade, Pumpkin Pie, Crumb Cake, Petal Pink and Old Olive.  I then die cut the Christmas tree with the In the Woods Framelits out of Tranquil tide cardstock.  I took a sponge dauber and went all over the tree with whisper white ink, so it look like it had snow on it.  Next I used the snowflake stamp from the Stylish Christmas and Smokey Slate ink and put snowflakes all over the card.  I was going to stop here with my card, but it just looked like it needed something more, so I took Balmy Blue ink and a sponge dauber and filled in the top of the card, and then lightly touched the bottom half of the card and all around the edges.  I added some Basic Pearls to the tree but colored them with the Petal Pink Stampin blends marker first, to match Mrs. Snowman’s scarf.  The sentiment is stamped in Basic Black ink.  I really like how this card turned out.  It might not be the card that you want to mass produce, but it is a card that shows how much you love making cards!  Have fun with it!

Thank you so much for stopping by, and if there is anything I can help you with, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Have a wonderful day!
