Fall Card
Hi Everyone!
How was your soggy weekend? Mine was okay, busy and very little stampin I hate to report. My card today is a Thank-you card on the inside, after I finished it I really didnt want to put the sentiment on the front. I started out with a Lovely Lipstick card base, 8.5×5.5, then added a whisper white 5.25 x 4 and rounded the corners. I then took the tree stamp from the Winter Woods stamp set and stamped it in Crushed Curry ink. Then with my sponge I dabbed in the Pear Pizzazz ink and just sponged on to the stamp, and then did the same with Lovely Lipstick ink pad. Once I had what I thought was enough ink I then huffed on the stamp and stamped onto the Whisper White card stock. I love how this turned out. Such a variation. I used my Crumb Cake light stampin blends marker and just highlighted the tree trunks a little to get away from the Crushed Curry look. Then on the leaf piles I did the same, stamped it in Crushed Curry ink and then sponged on the stamp Pear Pizzazz and Lovely Lipstick ink. The 2 dear are stamped in Crumb Cake onto crumb cake cardstock and die cut with the Detailed deer thinlets. I added eyes on the deer with a black marker. I just love how the trees turned out. I’m not sure if there is a name for this technique or not, but it was easy and no two cards will come out the same.
I hope you will give this a try, its so exciting to see what your end result will be.
Have a great Monday!
