Country Home Christmas
Merry Wednesday Stampers,
I am going to try something new this Holiday season and that is to show case a Holiday card every Wednesday from now until Christmas. So to start the session off I am using the Country Home stamp set along with Winter Woods, and Itty Bitty greetings. My card base is Cherry Cobbler, with a layer of Mossy Meadow that has been embossed with the subtles embossing folder. I then took 2 pieces 1.5 x 2.2 of the Joyous Noel DSP paper, (you could use any coordinating DSP paper for this part) I used the large circle oval and die cut a piece of cherry cobbler and then the scallop oval for the whisper white. The milk can is stamped in Black Archival ink and colored with the Light and Dark Gray stampin blend markers. I then put a piece of paper over the entire image and stamped just the top have of the Christmas tree from the Winter Woods stamp set in Mossy Meadow ink and stamped onto the top of the milk can. Viola! Isn’t that neat! I added a gold star from the Metallic embellishments. The sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Greetings set and stamped in Black ink. Attach the 2 ovals together and then used stampin dimensionals to pop up on the card. I used the Cherry cobbler twine from the Festive Farmhouse trio and made the bow. After I had it all put together it just felt like it was missing something, so I took the little poinsettia framelits from the Detailed deer thinlits dies and die cut a few out of Cherry Cobbler cardstock and grouped them together and added some more gold metallic enamels. This card took a little more time to put together along with 3 stamps sets and 2 different framelits, but I like the end result. Hopefully it will give you some inspiration to make a Christmas card.
Enjoy your Day!
