The Sky is the Limit
Todays card is for the man in your life on Valentines day, but could also be used for a Birthday or Anniversary card. When I saw this stamp set in the Sale a bration catalog I knew I had to have it, and this stamp set is only available to the 15th of Feb. so if it is one you want you need to place your order before then.
The card base is Basic Black cardstock, with a layer of Soft Suede and then the Whisper White. I took a sponge an sponged some Soft sky in the top part of the card before stamping the mountains on with Soft Suede, Then I just used the tree tops in Mossy Meadow To give the effect of the airplane flying above the trees. The heart tail is stamped in Real Red, and the sentiment in Tuxedo Black ink. The airplane I stamped with Tuxedo Black ink on whisper white, and then I fussy cut it out and colored the plane with real red using Blender pens, then adhered it to the white cardstock with stamping dimensionals. On the inside of the card, I again stamped the airplane with Tuxedo Black ink, along with the heart tail in Real Red.
