Just a little fall card

Hello Stampers!

What do you do when you cant sleep at night, go to your stamps and make a card.  I had a card class last night with my wonderful ladies from the Barberton area and we were using the Daisy punch and talking about how to make a sunflower with it.  Well that just got the wheels a turning and I had to get up last night and put this together.  I started out with a whisper white card base 8.5 x 5.5 and then added a layer of the Soft Suede, 5.25 x 4 with a layer of Wood Textures DSP paper 3.75 x 5.  I then used the stamp from the Colorful Seasons stamp set and stamped the daisy on to Crushed curry card stock.  I stamped on of each in basic black, crumb cake and 2 of Soft suede ink.  I then punched then out and attached with a glue dot.  I cut a 1″ circle of Early Espresso card stock and embossed them with the Softly falling embossing folder to give them the inside look.  You could use any embossing folder that has dots on it to get the same effect.  I attached the circles to the daisy and now I have a sunflower.  I used dimensionals to attach them to the card.  I added a piece of the striped burlap trim across the bottom with tear n tape.  I then stamped and die cut the leaves from crushed curry, real read and crumb cake cardstock.  I also added a little pizzazz by die cutting two leaves from the gold glimmer paper from the Joyous Noel pack.

Isn’t that just a fun card for being put together at 2:00 am!  I  left the sentiment off of it, and will add one on the inside for the need when it arises.  This would make a great card for any occasion.  If you need any supplies to put this card together, you can go to my online store  and place your order of if you are  not comfortable with doing that, drop me an email and I will be happy to help.

Stay dry and Thank-you for stopping by.

Sheryl
