Country Home

The Country Home stamp set in the Holiday Catalog on page 43 is one of my favorite stamp sets in this catalog.  There are so many things you can do with this stamp set.  I started off today with a Night of Navy card base 8.5 x 5.5 and then added a layer of Crumb Cake 5 x 3.75  that I embossed with the new Tin Tile embossing folder.  I then took a sponge dauber and sponged around the top with Soft Suede, just to give it that good ole down home country look.  I stamped the milk can and the flowers in Black Memento ink and used the large oval die cut to cut the image out.  I then used my markers Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, Soft Suede, and Night of Navy to color in the image.  Now before you color in the milk can you will want to stamp the oval circle along with the sentiment and color it in, or you can do what I did color it and then stamp the circle and cut it out which is not the easiest.  But it was one of those things where ooops!  I added about 8″ of burlap and then added stampin dimensionals to my oval and attached to the card.

Won’t this be a fun Hello card to receive in the mail.  Just might make someones day!

Have a great weekend and I hope you stop by next week.
