Lilypad Lake
Hello Stampers,
I hope it is a beautiful morning where ever you are. The sun is shining here, and the temperature is perfect! My card to day is using the new Lilypad Lake stamp set from the new catalog on page 133. This card is one from my recent New catalog open house. The card base is using the new Balmy Blue card stock, 8.5 x 5.5, with a layer of Basic Black, 5.25 x 4 and then a layer of whisper white 5 x 3.75. We started out first by adding sand to the bottom of the card with Crumb Cake ink and the the stamp is from the Artisan Textures stamp set from page 130. Next I added the water with the Balmy Blue ink. The Herron was stamped in Granite Gray ink and die cut, the boats and lily pads were stamped in Archival Black ink and then die cut. The lily pads were colored with Mint Macaron and Flirty Flamingo markers, the boats were colored with Poppy Red, Mango Melody and Coastal cabana markers. I am loving the new colors that have come out this year. The grasses are die cut out of Coastal cabana card stock. The moon was stamped with Crushed Curry and then filled in with marker. We didnt add a sentiment to the front of the card, that way you could make it any type of card.
I have seen so many different versions of this card on pinterest, the options are unlimited. The Artisan Textures stamp set that I used on this card, is a very handy stamp set to have. Sometimes you just need to add a little something to fill in an empty spot and you don’t know what to use. Stop back on Friday and see my card using the Artisan Textures stamp set alone.
Have a great Wednesday!
