Happy 4th of July Birthday

Happy 4th of July!!

I have a niece who’s birthday is tomorrow and her mom’s is today!!!  I can show this card as my niece is young and does’nt follow my blog, but I will have to wait until Friday to show my sisters card! (just a teaser Jen)  When I saw this new stamp set Dandelion Wishes in the catalog this is what I thought of.  I’m sure I will use as it is intended but this is how it goes for now.  I took my Lovely Lipstick and Blueberry Bushel markers and just colored the dandelion part of the stamp and then gave it a huff of breath and stamped!  Is’nt it awesome.  I did the same with the Happy Birthday.  Sorry to say this stamp is retired, but it is one that I have kept, it just makes a bold statement when it comes to birthdays!  Now that I look at the card, I think I’m going to go back and add rhinestones in the center of the dandelions!

So quick and simple to put together.  You could really put this together with any color combo.

I hope you get to spend the day with family and/or friends tomorrow, enjoy some down time and the festivities!
