Country Road

Hello Stampers,

I hope all is well with everyone, a rainy day here again.  When I was going thru the catalog this stamp set just kept catching my eye.  I think the sentiment in it is just awesome, I love the grassy stems, and wagon wheel.   This could be for any occasion, and easy to do for a masculine card.  The card base is Sahara sand 8.5 x 5.5 with a layer of Soft Suede 4.25 x 5 and then a layer of whisper white 5 x 3.75.  The grassy stems were stamped first with Pineapple punch and then Mango Melody on top.  When you are wanting to layer your stampin, always remember to add the lightest color first and the darker color on top.  The weather vane is stamped in Basic Black, and the wheel was done in soft suede and then I used 1 3/4″ circle punch to punch it out.  I attached it with stampin dimensionals , and  added some bakers twine.  The star is stamped in Mango melody and then I fussy cut it out and popped it up as well.  The sentiment is in Soft Suede.   I dont know I guess its just a neat dude’s card!!!
