Brusho Crystal Colors meets Rooted in Nature

Good Morning Stampers!

Is it a wet and soggy one where you live?  I like some rain but this is a little overboard.  It sure is good for the grass and the flowers!  I am using the Brusho Crystal Colors todays on this card, I had purchased them awhile back but never got around to using them.  So all this week you are going to them in action.  I started with a Mossy Meadow card base 8.5 x 5.5 and then added a piece of Whisper White 5.5 x 4.  For my first try at the Brusho crystals, I just used regular  cardstock, on Wednesday you will see it with glossy paper.  I took my water spritzer and sprayed some water onto the card and then sprinkled the yellow and Moss green crystals on to the card.  The stamp set I am using today is the new Rooted in Nature in the annual catalog on page 143.  This stamp set I think will be very poplar.   Once it was dry I took the leaf image and stamped with the Moss Meadow ink, I added the leaf branch in Grapefruit Grove.  The sentiment is stamped in Basic Black ink and I added a little piece of burlap just for some dimension.

The crystals are very easy to use, and you can sprinkle them, let them dry and then finish your project.

Well this is it for today, make sure to stop by Wednesday to see my next card using the Brusho Crystals.

Stay dry,

Sheryl
