Petal Palette

Hello stampers!  Petal Palette is the stamp set for today.  I love the flowers, the birds, and the sentiments.  But, today’s sentiment is from a new stamp set that will be available on Friday.  Sorry to do that to you.  The card base is Crushed curry, 8.5 x 5.5 with a layer of Lemon Lime twist 5.25 x 4.  I added a 1″ strip of the Birthday Memories DSP, with a piece of Lemon Lime twist ribbon.  The flowers and the birds were stamped with Black Memento ink onto whisper white cardstock and then die cut.  I colored the birds with crumb cake marker.  The flower is colored with Old Olive light and dark markers and the flowers are with calypso coral light and dark markers.  I added stampin dimensionals when attached.  The circle is a piece of calypso coral cardstock punched with the 2″ punch and the whisper white is 1 3/4″  I stamped the leaf in Old Olive ink and stamped off be stamping on the circle.  I added some retired candy dots just to give it a little pop.  This card could be for any occasion or even just a note card.  The birds and flowers are so versatile, can be done in any color combo.
