April Paper Pumpkin

Ahoy Matte!

April’s Paper Pumpkin kit was exciting!  For these 2 cards I used Island Indigo for the card base on the 1st card.  I then took one of the cards in the kit and used it as a layer trimming it down to 5.5″  I then took a 2 piece of basic black and randomly stamped in Island indigo and black ink onto the 1.75 x 4.25 piece of white cardstock, attached the 2 and put on to the card base.  The tag was again used by cutting one of the cards in the kit to 2″ and angle cut the top, attach the anchor and I tied a knot in the twine to make it look more like a rope, I used the pop ups that came in the kit to attach and added the sentiment.

Card #2 – Again used a card and cut to 5.5″ to make the layer and added the Calpyso Coral and Whisper white I then used a circle framelit to cut the circle out of another one of the cards and added the lighthouse and stamped some birds.  I used the popups to attach the circle.

Card #3  Again using one of the cards as my layer, onto Whisper White cardstock.  I then made another tag and attached it with the pop ups.  I used one of the larger labels this time and just stamped all the sentiments on it and added some hearts.  I thought this gave it a fun meaning.

Card #4 Is on Whisper white card base, with a card as its layer and then Crumb Cake and Whisper white.  this time I took the life saver raft and added dimensionals to the back along with the bakers twine to make it look like the rope, added the sentiment and some hearts from the kit and it was finished.

Card #4  Is on Island Indigo cardstock  8.l5 x 5.5.  I used the small anchor and wheel and randomly stamped on the card base with Island Indigo ink.  I then took the scalloped and circle framelits and die cut layers.  I stamped the lighthouse in Island Indigo and added some birds.  I popped it up with pop ups from the kit.  I then took one of the larger labels to put my sentiment on.  I added a starfish in Calpyso Coral ink, and used the small circle punches to layer the boat.  Added again some of the twine.

There are so many other ideas that you could come up with using this set.  The kit has more supplies than needed to finish the projects in the kit.  I hope you get to work with your kit and go beyond.

Well have a great weekend and I hope it includes some stampin time.
