Best Birds

Hello Sunshine!

The sun is out and the birds are singing this morning.  It has to be a Good Day right!!!.  My card today is using the Best Birds stamp set from the annual catalog on page 99.  My card base is Old Olive 8.5 x 5.5, with a layer of Real Red 5.25 x 4 and then whisper white 5 x 3.75.  I stamped the branch in Soft suede, and then colored the leaved in with Old Oliver marker and used a blender pen on the branch to bring in the color.  I stamped the little flower in Real Red and used my blended pen in just the center to bring out some color.  The bird is stamped in Early Espresso ink and I used Calypso Coral and a blended pen to make his belly.   I was going for the look of a robin.  Then I just blended in the rest of his body.  I added a Black  Rhinestone for his eye (sorry these are retired) .  I tied a bow with linen thread and attached it to the branch with a glue dot.  I wanted the Robin to look like he was in the middle of the tree looking out and wishing everyone a Good Day.  I hope you like my card and if you are need of any supplies to make this card, please go to my online store and place your order.  Your orders are always appreciated.
