Tranquil Tulips

Good Morning Stampers!

Did you wake up to snow flurries, sleet and cold this morning.  I sure did, my poor tulips they are not sure what to do, they come up and go back down.  So I thought I would bring out this stamp set Tranquil Tulips that is getting set to retire on June 1st.  My card base is Pear Pizzazz 8.5 x 5.5.  With a layer of Oh so Lovely DSP 5.25 x 4.  I took the large oval framelit and cut out an oval in the DSP, and then made a frame for it out of Pear Pizzazz with the scalloped framelits.  On a piece of Whisper White I stamped the tulip petals in Pear Pizzazz and the tulips first in Peakaboo peach and then added Flirty Flamingo on top.  I stamped the sentiment in Basic Black ink and punched with the 1 1/2 circle punch and then added a PEAR Pizzazz layer with the 1/34″ circle punch.   Topped it off with a bow of Peakaboo peach crinkled seam binding.  Very easy and quick to put together.  You could change the sentiment to anything.  I needed a few notes cards so this fits the purpose for me.

The crinkled seam binding ribbon is retiring, I really hate to see it go, it is so versatile to use, it really adds to your project.

Enjoy your day and I hope you get a chance to do some stamping.
