Hoping for Sunshine
A little sunshine would be nice, instead of snow about now. My card today will hopefully add a little sunshine to your day. I started out with a Daffodil Delight card base 8.5 x 5.5. Then added a layer or Red Rose 4.25 x 5 and then a layer of Whisper White 4 x 4.75. The inks are Red Rose,Daffodil Delight, Bermuda Bay, Wild Wasabi and Crushed Curry. I stamped the largest flower first, and then made a mask of it and placed it on top before stamping the leaves and the rest of the flowers. I also used what I call the sunburst from the Amazing You stamp set that is the saleabrations catalog. and stamped them in Crushed Curry. I was going for the look of the sun coming up behind the flowers. The sentiment is stamped in Basic Black and punched with the new banner punch and then I sponged Bermuda Bay all around the edges to make it stand out against the flowers. I added a bow made with the Bermuda Bay 1/8″ ribbon in the simmer ribbon pack of the saleabrations catalog. After adding the bow, I decided to add a few tails to just add to the card. Hopefully this brings a little sunshine to your day.
Have a great weekend.
