January Thank-you Cards

Hello Stampers!

Did you have a great weekend and did your team win the Super Bowl?  I am not a huge football fan but I do usually root for the underdog.  So I was glad to see the Eagles win.   My weekend was very busy, Saturday night I went to my first CAVS game, with all my family.  It was awesome, we stayed in Cleveland that night too.   Anyways about todays card. I am using the new Beautiful Peacock stamp set from the Sale-a-brations catalog on page 7.  I stamped his feather background in Lemon Lime twist and then took a sponge dauber in Calypso Coral ink and stamped onto the stamp before going to the paper with it.   I then stamped the actual peacock in Bermuda Bay ink.  I cut it out using the stitched framelits and then added a background piece from the Myths & Magic DSP paper on page 37 in the Occasions catalog and die cut it with the scalloped framlit.  I then used Bermuda Bay, Calypso Coral and Lemon Lime Twist to add the swirl design along with the flowers here in there.  The sentiment is stamped from the stamp set in Bermuda Bay ink.   The swirls from this stamp set make a nice background stamp too.
