Valentine Treat Boxes
Valentine treat boxes made with the new Silver Mini Gable Boxes found on page 13 in the new Occasions catalog. I thought these would be great little treat boxes for my grandsons for Valentines day. The Myths & Magic DSP works great for this. I took a piece 1/3/4 x 12″ and simply wrapped it around the box, before adhering I used my bone folder to make creases where the corners would be, to give it a more finished look. Then simply used my fast fuse and attached it to my box. I then took the Sassy heart framelit and die cut some hearts from Lemon Lime Twist, Tangerine Tango, and the Myths & Magic Glimmer Paper. The dragon is stamped in Basic Black ink onto Bermuda Bay cardstock and then die cut with the framelit from the Magical Day Stamp set, and framelits that are on page 37 of the Occasions catalog. I didnt want to make it too mushy for my grandsons, so I think just a few hearts and dragon make it work. I plan to fill the box with they’re favorite treats. These boxes are so easy to use, they simply pop together and there is no adhesive needed. They would make great boxes decorated up for shower favors, Sunday school class, teacher gifts, or classroom treats. The possibilities are just endless. A great item to have in your stash for when the need arises.
